Video

  • My copy is of good quality nothing to compare with this pressing

  • My copy was purchased in New York, Timesquare station in a drive that is in the same station and this copy comes with the A side with very good sound but the B side is badly pressed, off center which makes the sound have a lot of variation in speed due to the oval of the pressing.

  • Hi, I may have another pressing, as my product code is 2010109904947, but the album image is identical to this one, also from B2B, if I scan this code, discogs doesn't find any...did I have a special limited pressing ?As I told you, my is totally good!In all points. Thanks.

  • Hi, I don't understand your comments, I have a perfect copy, absolutely no noise, total silence, no volume issues, a good dynamics, I won't go into the détails (because so I did and I lost m'y comment..don't want to write all again). But as I sais, perfect copy! But I don't think it's from 2015, but I sould ne the same, because of the yellow sticker in left side, underneath , but the barre code is different !All good!My is 2010109904947.

  • For everyone below who claims to have a good sounding copy: check the runout codes if you have indeed this release, and not Bob Marley & The Wailers - Legend (The Best Of Bob Marley And The Wailers), which seems to be a new master released in 2018. Both entries look almost identical from their discogs page, but judging by the comments have a huge difference in sound quality. I can't comment on the quality of this one, but the other sounds fine.

  • I can second eifde's comment. My copy is clean, and the sound is alright.

  • All copies does'nt seem to have the faulty pressing. I was affraid of what I bought, but the sound is correct.

  • Utterly disappointing. How this stuff gets out to the public is disgraceful. Low volume levels, terrible pressing. Avoid.

  • Low level, totally disappointing qaulity. Beware 'Back to black' series.

  • Perfect Marley selection - but the pressings volume level is way too low.

  • Nonsense. They're around 25 minutes per side, which is fine. Max for 33RPM is around 25 minutes, and 15 minutes for a 45RPM. If the volume is too low they messed up the mastering.

  • of course volume level is low with around 30(!) minutes per side. around 20mins should be maximum for good volume level. They should leave the missing songs in and made a double LP instead of this crap.

  • B2B have in my experience so far been superb. However, I agree that the levels are incredibly low. As a result after cranking the volume every imperfection is amplified to unacceptable levels. Not good at all.

  • Low levels. Very noisy record. Avoid this press. Very disappointed

  • Is this a joke? Bought this pressing from HMV in the Pure Event for £7.99 and I still feel ripped off. Low volume, noisy pressing with constant 'wind' sound between all tracks and quiet passages, pops and clicks galore. Sounds more like a VG- second hand record than a new disc. Horrible.

  • I bought a copy of this LP out of Sainsbury's i used to have the original. I was like WTF, Redemption Songs got somebody else singing in it and Buffalo Soldier was different and No woman no cry. Was it only me or did they murder this LP? May have been different versions? I haven't heard them before and they sure as ain't on the original pressing, it was that bad i had to get a copy of the original from eBay!

  • There's a fault on the back : in the description of I Shot The Sheriff, the album Burnin' is spelt Brunin'.

  • This is the worst pressing of a record I have ever heard. The volume is low and the sound is muffled and has no detail whatsoever. It's that bad I had to check my turntable was working properly.

  • Totally agree. i just listened and the soynd was very low.

  • The same here. Extremely low volume level to the point of being unlistenable. Also had to crank up the vol almost 3 times higher than usual with other LPs. These reissues should be recalled ! Fortunately I could bring it back and exchanged for a different LP ( Legacy Vinyl - Depeche Mode in this case with great sound ). I don't know whether all B2B are so crap or not...but it was the first buy from this label and dissapointing. I heard that these pressing are "kinda B2B old" and the shops are restocking them for an upsale. Not worthy even for free.

  • Also my new copy is full of clicks and the sound level is low

  • This particular pressing, bought on a whim, is absolute rubbish. The volume level is too low and the soundstage is flat with absolute no dynamics. Don't waste your money on this particular pressing, it'll disappoint you no end.

  • Stay away from this edition. Pops and clicks like crazy even though it's in mint condition. I also had to crank up the volume three times as much is needed for all my other records, be it mint or poor condition, to get to the same level of loudness. Does anybody have the same problem as me?

  • I just donated my copy to the charity shop. Worst new vinyl album I've ever bought.

  • No clicks or pops, but the volume is much lower than any of my other albums. It pretty much needs to be played at top volume on my system. I found myself wishing for the mythical Spinal Tap 11 on my dial.

  • YES, I HAVE THE SAME, Thanks very much, it is crazy... my record come mint ,brand new from the store, dont have volume and make pops, clicks, BAD WORK, STAY AWAY, Island Records LTD

  • My copy plays very good. No clicks or pops. The is a bit lower than on most other records. I guess that has to do with the long playing time.

  • I just bought it and don't have any issue. Sounds great.

  • My copy played beautifully throughout with no clicks or pops. Maybe slightly lower volume than usually.

  • Exactly the issue you described. I feel ripped off. They (universal music) should replace this pressing for an actual PROPER release. I doubt I can return it. I cannot describe the disappointment I'm feeling right now).

  • I don't have any pops or clicks, I do have to bump up my volume a tiny bit but nothing extreme.

  • I have the same volume issue with this edition. I have to turn my system all of the way up to get a decent volume level and it could still be louder. All of my other vinyls are much louder.
